Remember my post last year about being appalled that a coach yells so much at his team and shows a lack of respect for the kids? Well, that is Schuyler's coach this year.
There are also some new rules in the new division -such as lead offs being okay and stuff like that.
And wow, do those pitchers this year throw fast balls!!
Inning 1: Giants field first. Schuyler started in right field, fielded a ball to 1st. 8th of 9 in batting order, 3 strikes on batter 7.
Inning 2: left field uneventful, first up, struck out swinging
Inning 3: right field, fielded 2 to first, no bat
Inning 4: right field uneventful, first up again, struck out on a 2-3 count
Inning 5: right field uneventful, no bat
Inning 6: center field, fielded one to 2nd real fast, struck out, first no swing on a good pitch, then strikes swinging on the next 2
No one seemed very happy, all the boys were pretty sad. But, it's only game 1 and hopefully they will learn from mistakes today.
