Miss Emma Turns 4!

Emma had a fun party with lots of friends, although you won't see them in these pics - I don't have parent permission to post those pics (I haven't asked yet quite honestly). We usually make a cake together for both kids birthdays, but this year with the move, Emma was very happy to have an ice cream cake, and of course, she picked one with pink flowers all over it. Not the teddy bears or anything like that. PINK, we need PINK!!

And the lovely 'buffet' backdrop is Schuyler's Bob the Builder blanket on some boxes in the kitchen. FYI: don't plan a birthday party in the house you just moved into yesterday - it's chaos. The grill broke so a friend helped out and fried the burgers on the stove (my pans were about the only thing in the kitchen right then), using BBQ tongs. Good thing the kids weren't picky because they got microwaved hot dogs.

But, most importantly, fun was had by all!

And, now that she is four, her attitude is four times greater than it was the day before she turned four.
