The kids had a fun experience today. As I pulled the van out to unload all the Christmas boxes they had fun running through the garage and finding "treasures" from Christmases past.
Then came the garbage truck. For some reason they find this thrilling. But, that wasn't the highlight.
The highlight, my friends, is that both kids were allowed to operate the garbage truck and dump the garbage from the curb into the truck. Funnier still - was Emma in her princess dress up with my heeled boots on, operating a garbage truck. If only I had time to grab the camera!
So our day was not about decorating for Christmas, but instead was about dumping trash.
