Playoff game 14: Reds vs. Astros 4-3 REDS

AND ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!! Ok, that was a little un-sportsman like, so sue me.

The Reds are on fire!

For Schuyler,
Inning 1- 2nd base, no action. No up to bat

Inning 2 - left field, no action. Up to bat with 3 balls, 2 swinging strikes, then a great hit that unfortunately went down the first base line and he was out at first for the third out (had it not been the 3rd out it would have been an RBI).

Inning 3 sat out, no up to bat

Inning 4 - right field, no action. Up to bat AWESOME AGAIN! Nailed the ball down the 3rd base line for a double! Stole 3rd and was batted home by a team mate that got a triple!!

Inning 5 sat out. No up to bat again.

Inning 6 - right field, no action and no last ups because we won!

Of note, Schuyler is the last in the batting order (his favorite place to be because if he can get on base then the big hitters can bring him home) and his first hit was only the second hit of the game. His run was one of 4! This team was a good team that kicked our butts both times we played them, but the Reds brought their A game tonight!!!!!

Schuyler is now known for eating green beans in the dugout and apparently that helped them to win. So, bring the green beans and see you Thursday! :)

Next game Thursday vs. the Indians who were #1 coming into playoffs (we were #2). Whoever wins that game plays the Giants on Saturday in the Championships.
