Summer. Day 3. 2:30 pm.

Summer.  Day 3.  2:30 pm.  The beasts had a celebration today.  They called it "Graduation" and "Confirmation".  The male was excitable, but distracted by the tight cloth strip around his neck.  I think the females make the males wear these so they can drag them around to wherever they need to be (the males seem to have difficulty taking care of themselves).  Now these "children" roamed far off with the parents of the parents.  The terrain is left eerily quiet.  For now.  I know they will return, and likely with a vengeance.
