Game 10: Reds vs. Giants 12-4 REDS!

THE BEST GAME EVER!!!

I was so excited watching this one. Could be because it was their best game ever. Could be because I could actually pay attention because Emma was hanging out with Grandma...

The boys were completely on with their batting, running and defense. No errors were recorded during this game!! They came into this game mad that they lost the last game vs. Giants (last Saturday).

Schuyler had a rather uneventful field - good backup of the pitcher from 2nd, good fielding in left and right. Got the ball back infield very fast.

First time up to bat was a walk on a 4-1 count. Forced run to 2nd but the batter hit a grounder right to second and he didn't have a chance. He was highly disappointed by this out.

Second time up was a walk on a 4-0 count. Stole 2nd and 3rd and was walked home.

We just want to see him swinging, so that is our next goal. A lot of wild pitches out there still, so it's hard to tell him to swing when it should be a ball. We'll get there though. He seriously enjoys running and sliding and does so with the BIGGEST, GLEAMIEST grin you've ever seen! His eyes sparkle and you can see that from the bleachers!!

He was so excited to share this game with his grandparents, it was a terrific game for them to see :)

Of note, talking to the scorekeeper for our team - Schuyler is the only player with a triple on our team, and also hold the record for walks and steals. That's my boy!
